New Orleans I noticed it at the State of the Union Address. I saw it again at a couple of press conferences. What’s the deal with President Bush and these neon ties?

Green, blue, yellow, red, a rainbow of solid, bright and garish colors are all you will see on the White House suits these days. Even Chaney was on the neon sign system recently.

Is this the new fashion? I doubt it, though I honestly wouldn’t know.

There must have been some focus group somewhere that said, if you blind them with the ties, they won’t listen to the speech or something of that sort. Maybe Fox News was trying out a new color filter on cameras.

Something is going on? Take a look and see if it’s become a neon world or my imagination?
