Thank you for helping to preserve the Simeto, it needs genius of your calibre to fight this battle, a battle that would be unnecessary to fight in a resource based society that did not produce waste that is not biodegradable in the first place, recycling can be tedious at the best of times here it is difficult to even find a decent rubbish bin, I say education is the key to change and change can only happen with the creation of new technology as I speak my new young neighbours instead of farming are building a warehouse, not for personal use but instead for resale, in this poverty stricken fear based Sicilian countryside what are the young men supposed to do in order to sustain a respectable way of life? and when it comes to energy the solar power that this Island has untapped is incredible. And yet the power companies continue to promote ridiculously expensive solutions, its time to get the soldering irons out! not to mention some kind of technology to harness the volcanoes enormous energy.
