New Orleans     Ok, you are probably sick of my obsession about elites determining who should be the Democratic nominee, so I’ll try to rein myself in with one more word about all of this….

This morning there was a “quick vote” on CNN.

More than 60% believe that super delegates should be bound by the way their state voted.

More than 20% believed that super delegates should be bound by the overall national totals.

Less than 20% believed that super delegates should have the right to “do their own thing.”

Seems beyond question that there would be a revulsion at the base of the Democratic Party if super delegates ended up carrying the whip hand in the final selection of the nominee.
